It was announced that the National Conference of Religious Institutions is being held under the theme "Religions for Peace, Respect and Solidarity!".
The third National Conference of Religious Institutions is being held in Bahir Dar city under the theme "Religions for Peace, Respect and Solidarity."
The conference was attended by His Holiness Abune Abraham, Archbishop of Bahir Dar and North Gojjam, Heads of Departments of the Patriarchal Patriarchate and other invited guests.
It was stated at the conference that religious leaders in Ethiopia are contributing to the reconciliation of conflicts, maintaining the unity of the people and the country, and promoting love and peace in their respective institutions.
These are the efforts being made at the institutional level to ensure peace in the country by promoting the work being done at the institutional level and to resolve the current problems of Ethiopia.
The conference is expected to discuss and pass decisions on the aforementioned and other issues. It has been learned that this conference was organized by the Amhara Regional Council of Religious Institutions in collaboration with the Ethiopian Council of Religious Institutions.
